WHAT A GREAT RESULT! 28 Day L.E.A.N Programme Graduate

Hey Y'all. I hope you are enjoying this August Bank Holiday so far...

It's been a busy month for us at MB Personal Training. We've got some exciting news, but we can't say too much yet!

More of that in the coming weeks.

If you've followed us for a while, you may have noticed that we offered a FREE 28 Day L.E.A.N (Learn Exercise Adapt Nutrition) Programme.

This was a totally free, online coaching programme for 5 people to take advantage of - No catch at all.

Well, the 28 days are over and we have had some incredible results.

The reason I'm writing this today is because I've received a great testimonial from one of the L.E.A.N Programme graduates - Nick.

Well done Nick!

Due to the success of our first 28 Day L.E.A.N Programme, we are opening our doors soon.

If you want to get on to the next programme, send us an email - mbpersonaltraining@hotmail.co.uk

Keep your eyes peeled for our next programme!

Here's what Nick had to say:

Background:

I had been doing a diet plan for about a year and lost a substantial amount of weight. but that final barrier I just always fell short of. I was looking for something different so I could push through it and get to my goal.

I seen Mike had posted on Facebook about his personal training. at the time I couldn't afford the price for his programme. he offered a free 28 day trial for 5 people. so I snapped at the chance.

On the Programme:

As all us food addicts do just before the programme started I went out and hovered everything up... KFC, Chinese. I went into hog mode on the Friday. Saturday came around and I was on it like sonic. I was really excited about the new challenge. as I'm quite a competitive person me and the Mrs set goals. and obviously I wanted to blow her out of the water.

There is a commitment of no alcohol on the plan but for me that's not an issue as I'm not a big drinker. but I can see the importance of not drinking.

Day 1 :- I was a little shocked at how much food I was eating but I was miles under my calories.. hmmm should I have something fatty to bring my calories up? That's when I realised I can eat like a king as long as it's the right stuff!

Day 2:- At this point my body was craving junk.. again you can have a little treat but not to much or 2 often! it's really important. But I was thinking there is no way I can make it another 26 days!

You wanna know what got me focused???

Mikes fitness plans. Once I started doing that it got me focused... I just sweated my guts out I'm not eating rubbish.

Day 3:- I messaged Mike saying I disliked him as I was absolutely in agony from my brain storm idea of gym on day 2 which was my doing.

As I'm competitive I obviously went with all the heavy weights and done too much. It was like I was in competition with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Mike simply said to me.. go for a swim it's amazing for stretching my muscles.. and it was I was feeling great after if.

End of week one: - Scales day :( I hate this. I have worked hard and eaten good. Come on Nick.

Got on with my eyes closed and......4lbs off... I was buzzing. but when the Mrs got on she only lost 2.

It's quite easy to fall into the trap of thinking you're going to be 3 stone lighter after a week. It's not a sprint, it's a marathon. And week 2 she smashed me but I won't admit that to her.

It's all about team work and Mike offered me that. If I had a question or needed support my little torture master (Mike) was there with advice and to motivate me.

Week 4:- I was 12lbs lighter and I had lost about 2 inches off all my body area. I had gone down 2 belt loops on my works clothes and my trousers were like MC hammer.

I felt amazing. And Mike helped me when ever i needed him.. also helped me when I didn't want help but he would badger me to get up and get busy. But then again I needed that at times :).

Not everyone is going to have amazing results but if you stick to it and push hard you will shock yourself.

One bit of advice I can give.. is

I didn't get fat over night, don't expect to be thin over night either.

I enjoyed everything about it.

What I will take away:-

I will not keep tabs on what I'm eating. It made me aware I can eat what every it is I fancy but MODERATION!!!.. I had faggots and normally I'd smash 4 but I cut it down to 2 and oh look I can have 2 meals!

I will also take away that I don't have to eat to be full! In other words I don't need to have that stuffed turkey feeling after every meal. It's ok to eat a little and then a little again in a bit.

Exercise is important. Well for me as it tunnels my vision and made me committed and focused!

For me this was a success.. It's given me a time of energy and I'm not so lethargic. It's given me this get up and go attitude!

Would I do it again??? Hell yes I would!

About Mike:

Mike is a great motivator and is always there. Don't be afraid to use him.

Message him and he's there in a jiffy. If I had any questions he 97% the answer, that 3% well that's where you sometimes need to help yourself and see you can do it!

The only thing I would say to Mike is.. leave me alone when I'm tired and stop making me get dressed and get out haha

But in all honesty thank you for that!

Top bloke that knows what he's doing

Cheers fella catch you soon.

Nick Bushrod

Well done again Nick - You put in the hard work over the 28 Days.
